– Rediscovering the above pre-announcement after some time I feel it’s all said there, in two words:
Finally. Athena.
Then the question of what to make explicit and what to leave implicit strikes me once again. Explicitly in art it seems that there’s an infinite number of things said implicitly. This tends to be exhausting and excluding. So I’ll add explicit thoughts.
It feels like we came from opposed universes. Like in science fiction, where ancient myths merge with futuristic imaginations, interstellar travels had brought us on the same planet. And during the following three years eventually all that seemed opposing mixed smoothly and turned out to be of the same substance anyhow. Canvas. Public space. Symbols. Irony. Images. Production.
